I live in the Verb, in the Word

When I was a child my father used to tell me that if we started digging on ground we would reach New Zealand. That’s why I always observed through the sewers in order to see its sky. When I grew up, I stopped by the sewers watching a rose getting pulverized until I lost my identity and I actually lost it when my horse with no name went away and never came back. Ever since sewers are my Descent into hell, but now, however, New Zealand could make from this Descent an Ascent to paradise. This is why I want to live there to give life to the Verb. Therefore, «Yes, I said Yes, I will Yes»

On the first part of the journey,
I was looking at all the life.
There were plants and birds. and rocks and things,
There was sand and hills and rings.
The first thing I met, was a fly with a buzz,
And the sky, with no clouds.
The heat was hot, and the ground was dry,
But the air was full of sound.

I've been through the desert on a horse with no name,
It felt good to be out of the rain.
In the desert you can remember your name,
'Cause there ain't no one for to give you no pain. 

By the way, my name is Ariadna Jaime García, currently studying Arabic and Islamic Studies, as well as Spanish Philology, at the University of Seville. I hope this little text explains how much I desire to study in New Zealand next year.

Ej. 0.2 - La noción de habitar (video)

Lo prometido es deuda, el video sobre mi noción de habitar:

La motivación del video realizado es muy clara. Daba por hecho los orígenes de la configuración de la vivienda como refugio, y lo consideraba un tema demasiado manido como para hacer una referencia a este hecho. Además, como cada video es muy personal, no he querido mostrar una noción de vivienda general, aplicable a todo el mundo, sino que debido a las curiosas circunstancias de mi alojamiento, un colegio mayor, he querido plasmar con un poco de gracia el día a día al que estamos sometidos.

Pero no ese día que todos podemos llegar a suponer: estudiar, comer, dormir, asearse,...No, el día a día aquí mostrado es más nuestro.
